Hello fellow bloggers this blog post is going to be all about me. My name is Derek Chipps I am currently 17 years old. I have lived in Dewitt until I was 6 then my mom moved out of the house and my parents got divorced so we moved to Lansing but I still have to go to Dewitt schools. I used to play all different kinds of sports when I was little; I played football, soccer, baseball, and basketball. I am the youngest of my family, I have one older bother named Kyle he just turned 20, he goes to college at Western Michigan University he is a junior. Over the summer I went to Texas to go see one of my best friends named Seth and I saw a lot of cool places while I was there. We went to a big water park called Splash town its just like Michigan adventures but its just the water park. There are many different restaurants in Texas that I have never known about and they have such different kinds of food, there are a lot of places they have that are BBQ places and they are very good because all the food is fresh and they make very good food. My plans after High School are to go to Lansing Community College and study to become an electrician and start working on power lines for a construction company; like when power goes out at an intersection or after a big storm I want to be the person that fixes that for people.
Hey Derek its Damien i figured id comment on your post. What made you want to become an electrician? Oh and I know someone who went to Texas a couple years ago in December it snowed like an inch and they shut down like everything cause they never have snow down there so everyone assumed if they went out driving they'd prob crash lol.
