Me Me Me

I, Rachel DiAnne McFarland, was born on June 2nd, 1994 in Modesto, California to Dana and Perry McFarland. I lived with my mom and dad in Modesto for four years before they had their next child, my baby brother, Lucas McFarland, on January 11th, 1999. Shortly after the birth of my brother, our family moved to Dayton, Ohio for my dad's Physical Therapy schooling. After my dad got his degree and became a Physical Therapist, our family packed up and moved to DeWitt, Michigan, into a small duplex. When we moved to Michigan I was in the third grade and my brother was still too young to go to school. By the time I was in fourth grade, my family had moved into a nice house in Oakland Hills Estates. When we moved to this neighborhood I made some good, long-lasting friendships.
When I was in elementary scho0l, I was really into softball. I didn't play any other sports when I was younger, but when Junior High came, I began to devote a lot of time to sports. I started to lose interest in softball, and I began running cross country and track. Also, my brother has been a wrestler since a very young age and by the time I got to the eighth grade, I had decided to try it out myself. Since then, I have stuck with wrestling, and really put all my time into the sport. I even let go of cross country and track to allow more time for wrestling. Wrestling has taken me far. I have recently won two national titles, one, which qualified me for the Cadet World Team. The World Championships were in Hungary this past summer. I took fifth place overall. My decent grades and these wrestling accomplishments are giving me many options for colleges, at which I will get scholarships for wrestling and academics. I have lots to come in my future, and hopefully it's a bright one.

  1. Hello Rachel, you are an awesome blogger! You sound like you have a very interesting and exciting life...but you forgot to mention a minor detail, it's called marks, and it is kind of one of the most exciting things in your life in my opinion but I guess that topic can be devoted to another blogging session. I really don't have any questions for you because I knew everything that you wrote before I read it. I am sad that you decided to quit softball when you were younger but I guess I am okay with it now since you are a sweet wrestler. You also seemed to forget about you're obsessions with Justin Bieber, words with friends, and a certain someone else..haha. Well I am glad that I choose to comment on your blog because honestly you're one of the best bloggers I know. Okay, well I had a great time reading your blog, and I am happy that I met you!
