I agree that the book gave the message that mentally handicapped people are not to be made fun of. I also hate the guys at the bakery because they always made fun of Charlie but towards the end of the book I started to like them more because they started sticking up for Charlie when the new guy tired to make fun of him. I also thought the author was very supported of mentally challenge people because he showed of the things they have to go through in everyday life. Also the author shows some of the struggles that mentally challenged people go through. He also shows how they think different and it makes u stop and think about it. I also think that its cool that you do anything to help mentally challenge people. I also like how this book changed you and what u think about mentally challenge people. Also this book changed me too and what I thought a bout mentally challenge people too.
