There where many forms of stereotypes in the book of mice and men. many of them were about lenny and the crook. this storys plot takes place in the 1930 when befor the civil rights movment began. so many of the people in that time were stil against blck people expesaily in te south. that is why crook is the main stereotype in this book a black man but not just any black man a crippled black man. Crook is portayed as kinda mean in the book doesnt talk to anybody dosnt do anything exept his work. he has to sleep by him self in the barn with the hourses know ebe egnoligise him. another sereotype is the little man syndrome with curly. Curly is the definicine of the little man syndrome. He over compinsates for his size by be a dick to just about everone expesaily to lenny because he is a bigger guy then he is. this is shown in the book when he pick a fight with lenny for know reason. in the end lenny won because george told him to fight back but still he just snaped at lenny just to try and show not to mess with him.
