Cyber bullying presentation

My presentation about cyber bullying went really well. The one thing I would change is how long it took because 20 minutes for a presentation that is only supposed to be 4-6 minutes is a little too long. In my opinion nothing went well because I was nervous and I do not think I did the best I could have, but I think most people judge their projects to hard when they did do well. If I had to choose something that went well was the poll everywhere I did. I had the whole class use their cell phones to answer a poll I made online. The class had a fun time doing it and it was an interesting thing to do. All the presentations were good and the one I found most interesting was the animals as therapy one because I learned a lot about the subject and I love anything to do with animals. On the topic of abortion I think it is the person’s chose because you may not know what is going on in their life to make an educated guess of why they would have an abortion in the first place. One question I do have is on the euthanasia presentation and what are different ways that someone could do euthanasia. I had a fun time listening to all the presentation.

  1. Hey Megan, great job on your presentation! I wouldn't really worry about it being a little too long. The polls that you made us do with our cell phones was pretty cool, but I don't think that was the best part of your project. I really liked the statistics that you showed. The one statistic that said that about every 1 in 4 college students that are bullied online commit suicide is shocking. I don't remember if you mentioned how many deaths there are per year because of cyber bullying, but that would be an interesting thing to know. I totally agree with you about it being the person's choice to have an abortion, and basically for the same reason. I also thought that using animals as therapy was very interesting. Another thing that I agree with you on is that we usually do grade ourselves harshly on our own presentations because we pretty much always think that we could have done better.

  2. Meg don’t even worry about how long your presentation was! I thought you had a lot of really interesting facts in your slides and my favorite part of your presentation was the part where we all got our phones out and texted our answer to that one website and you could see it go on the screen! I’ve never seen that before! I’m glad that you thought my presentation was interesting about animal therapy! I love animals too, that’s part of the reason why I did that topic. I’m obsessed with my dogs! Hahah but I agree with you I thought the abortion one was really interesting too! What I liked about your presentation too was that it was so realistic and I think it made everyone realize what cyber bullying does to people because I know that it goes on everyday but people don’t even think anything of it and it’s terrible! Alright well see you tomorrow bye! <33

  3. Hey Megan
I thought your presentation on cyber bullying was done very well and it was really interesting. It was a little long, but that was mostly because of the cell phone poll which was one aspect that made your presentation really interesting. The poll got everyone in the class involved, and the stats from the poll was another thing that proved your point during your presentation. Your presentation was also good because you included a lot of interesting statistics and good information. I also agree with you that the presentation on animals as therapy was one of the more interesting presentations. This was mainly because I didn't know a lot on the subject of animals as therapy and it did a good job of summarizing what it was and how certain animals can benefit sick or disabled patients. The video in that presentation was a good example of how animal as therapy works.
