The novel I selected was The Curious Incident of the Dog
in the Nighttime. The reason I selected this novel was because Mrs. Marble
suggested to me that this would be a good book to read. Also, it looked like an
easy read which is something I look for because I am not the best reader in the
world. It’s about a young adult that has autism and finds a wounded dog when he
was on a walk at night. He sees the dog and goes to help it, but the lady that
lives in the house was upset that he was touching the dead dog. Then the police
come and take him to jail. When his dad bails him out, he decides to find out
who really killed the dog. I think some of the similarities between the books
we are read are quite obvious. The main character in this book has a mental disability
and in the old books we read there is more than one character that has a mental
disability. I think that there is another connection between Of Mice and Men
and this book because he has some sort of connection to the animals just like
Lenny In the first book.
BEATS IN THE BUILDING!! That book seems very interesting although one thing i do not understand is why the boy got arrested because he was looking at the dead dog. but the book i am reading is called "through my eyes" it is an autobioghraphy abou Tim Tebow. thebook just recalls his life growing up, he was born in the phillipines to a very religous mother and father. his father is a minister and tim wanted to follow his footsteps and become a minister also. i believe hes a very good role model for all young kids especially athletes. he is my my second favorite quarter back all time following a friend of mine ryan wieber. oh yeah thats you. well please let me know how the book turns out because i would enjoy reading that i think.
