Ethan Week 7
BEATS IN THE BUILDING!! My novel of choice is "Through my Eyes" its an autobiography on Tim Tebow. If you guys don't know who THE Tim Tebow is, he's the only sophomore quarterback to win the Heisman trophy. He also is a national champion with the Florida Gators. He is a very religious person his father is a minister. Tim was born the Philippians which was a miraculous birth because of complications in the womb. the reason I picked this book to read is because hes super religious he doesn't smoke, do drugs or even drink hes about as pure as it gets. Usually people are trying to fit in but he wanted to be an outcast,he felt like that set him apart of his peers which was his goal on the field as well as off. Honestly, I would trade places even tho he grew up with not many friends. He thanks god for everything he does or gets the chance to which isn't found anymore. Praying or having a strong connection with god and showing it isn't "cool".

Yeah BEATS! “Through my Eyes” looks like a really good book and Tebow really is a very good person and role model and I'm not just saying that, because I'm a Florida Gators fan. He has really done well for himself from who he started his life, with his parents not even knowing if he was going to live. He is a very good role model for all of the things you mentioned he doesn't do drugs, smoke, drink, how he's super religious, how he spends his time volunteering around the world on mission trips, and not doing things to fit in, but rather doing the opposite of it. I have to disagree with you about the friends thing he was the star of the football team, I'm sure that how he doesn't do anything bad prevented him from having friends, so I'm sure he had a lot of friends. Let me know how it is I think that I might want to read it.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great book Beats! I am also a Tim Tebow fan. I think he is a great role model for all people. He has been doubted all his life and he works as hard as he can to prove the doubters wrong. He is a very straight edge guy that makes good decisions not involving drugs or alcohol. He thanks god for everything he is given. I think we need more people in the world like Tim Tebow. He is also a great football player. When he played for the gators they would never lose! I thought it was awesome when he got picked in the first round of the nfl draft when everyone said he wouldn't be. People are still doubting his skills in the nfl but I know he will work hard to prove everyone wrong once again. Tim Tebow is a great competitor and a great person.

Also i really enjoyed when he played for the gators, they were unstoppable because of him. Also i think Tim Tebow is a great role model off the field because he is very religious. Also I like how he has never drank or did anything like that. Also I like how he is an outcast because he doesn’t participate in any of the college activities like drinking. I also think its cool because you found a book that relates to you about how you both like football. Also it probably is a book that you have interest in because you both are very good at football. Get ready for the Mhsaa playoffs, Ethan Beats Ren, we gunna go all the way.
ReplyDeleteBeats even though you are week and not athletic, i agree with you about this book. If i could have read this book i would have. tim tebow is one of my favorite college athletes of all time because of his success and leadership on and off the field. Tim never got into trouble, he was always doing good things that benefited the public people and he was always happy to give autographs and talk to his fans. his hardwork and persistence to play football has kept him in the NFL where he is now a starter for the denver broncos. PS, Do work for me in the playoffs son.
