think both books are pretty good but i like flowers of algeron. the reason i liked that book better is i got in to the book more. because it started off with him being slow then he has a surgery. then in three days he becomes very smart. he finds out more about himself as a person. like why his mother is was beating him when he was a little kid and also why his father was never there when when him mother was beating or why he never stopped her when she was beating him.
Also why when his father got a divorcee with his mother why he didnt come and get him
