Power…. What really is power other than a word? In the book mice of men George takes care of lennie. Which in return gives George all the power, But is there power deep down in lennie that his simple mind can’t grasp..? From the reading I’ve already done, George holds the most power mainly by the way he carries himself and the fact that he will never back down.  CURLY, the very short dude wants the power, apparently that’s all he ever talks about. Is curly not liking someone. That’s because they have more power than he does. Curly knows his power is limited well so is your height dude….get over it.  Power I would say plays the biggest role in the book because most of the main characters are out to get it, cause they feel they “need” it.  Lennies about the only person who isn’t concered about the power but on the other hand he is the one who needs it the most. When curly attacked him he needed to grow some balls ( power ) and stick up for himself, George isn’t going to be there forever, but is the power really important or are they just playing this silly game for laughs……..?
