Of Mice and Men (Power)

One person in Of Mice And Men that has a significant amount of power is George. George has power because he takes tare of Lennie, so therefore has power over Lennie. Lennie is dependent on George to tell him what to do in most situations because he does not have the natural instinct that mot people have that acts when needed.
Another person that has a lot of power in the story is Curley. Curley is the boss' son at the ranch, and is feared by most of the other ranch workers. He is able to push all the other workers around because he knows that if any of them try to mess with him, he can get them fired immediately, being the boss' son.
Slim, a well respected worker, is another character that has power over others in my opinion because when he talks, everyone else listens. He is highly skilled, and many other workers go to him for advice. They also consider Slim to be the "prince" of the ranch, which shows that they look up to him as their leader on the ranch.
