Week 3.

In, Of Mice and Men the person who has the most power I’d say was George because, Lennie isn't the brightest person. He's always on Lennie's back making sure he isn't causing or getting in to any trouble. I don't think George realizes the way his “power” is affecting him, he acts like he's looking out for Lennie but, at the same time he wishes he didn't have to. Lennie, is the one person who doesn't have power but I think wants it, I don't think he likes not being able to have his own opinion but, he's too nice of a person to ever speak up. Curley is another person in the novel who believes that they’ve got all the power; just because he’s the bosses’ son. He acts like he’s all that and he can do what he wants when he wants because he knows he’s not in danger of losing his job; and he treats the workers with the same cocky attitude. Curley’s marriage is in danger due to all this “power” he thinks he has. He walks around acting like she's the one ruining their marriage when really; he’s the one who’s messing everything up for them.
