two novels

the books of mice and men and flowers for algernon both are books about mentally handicapped adults. I liked flowers for algernon better because you get many different veiws from the main character also I like how he gets smarter as time goes on. Charlie and lenny are pretty different characters Charlie is more social while Lenny isn't, Lenny mainly stays away from other people except George. the books both have a sad ending to them. intelligence has a major role in society most people wont except dumb people in to there comunity. most often people who are not smart get made fun of and laughed at. the authers are try to send a message that you need to be smart to normal part of society.
