The book, Thirteen Reason Why, really makes you think about the way you treat others. Hannah, the one who kills herself, recorded 7 tapes to explain why she killed herself. At first the reasons weren’t terrible and I thought why would she kill herself over that little reason. Now though, you start to see all the reasons being put together in one. All the reasons are connected in one way, it’s like a snow ball. Once you push the snowball down the hill it gets bigger and bigger and sometimes you can’t stop it. I don’t want to spoil the book for anybody in case they read it someday, but it’s really sad when you figure out what happened and why the main Character, Clay, the one listening to the tapes, is on them. I don’t believe he deserved to be on there, but just like the book says, he needed to know. If I was Clay I would have broken down if I knew I could of saved Hannah somehow. Also, as Clay is listening to the tapes and walking around, he sees some of the other people whose names were on the tapes. He sometimes wants to hurt those people for what they did, and who wouldn’t? Some of these people did unspeakable things and it’s sad to think that some of these things are probably going on in our school right now. I think one of the worst reasons so far is that this one guy, who lives next door, would sit outside her window and take pictures of her in her room. How creepy is that?!
Colleen this book I awesome I get so interested and it makes me want to keep reading :) and the guy that sits outside Hannah’s window is such a creep. I mean who does that? And when I was reading it I asked myself too why Hannah would kill herself over this stupid little reason too just like you said. Nice analogy with the snowball :) just like what Hannah used in the novel! I dont believe clay, the main charcter needed to be on there eathier its kinda stupid and plus Hannah even said it herself that Clay didnt need to be on there but he was.for anyone that is gonna read this book i would reccommend it because it really gets to you and makes you want to keep reading and you never want to put it down. although this book is sort of werid its really good and i think others will like it.
