Week 7 Post Ender's Game

For my novel of choice i chose to read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. The novel is set mostly in space and very futuristic. The Novel relates very closely with Catcher and the Rye in the way that both Holden and Ender are outcasts. In some cases not by choice but they face mostly the same problems. Ender never sees his family as does Holden. Holden chooses to excommunicate himself from his family though while Ender is taken from his family by force. Ender is exiled basically to bring out the true genius in him. All of the teachers are mean and cruel to see his full potential. In the book every time Ender starts to get comfortable he is taken somewhere else and put in a different situation to cope with. Holden was just starting to get sort of comfortable with his room mates when it is his time to go home and he must leave. Both boys face constantly changing problems and have to cope differently with each situation.
