The book I'm reading, Hole In My Life, has really slowed down and the excitement level and interest level has gone down a lot. The main character Jack still seems just like Holden, but to a more extreme level. He's very anti social, but is starting to make me more friends. Jack is becoming a lot more like Charlie as his life begins to spiral in the wrong direction. He is doing drugs now for the first time and continuing his drinking habits. He is still away from his family, who are now trying to start their own construction business in the Virgin Islands.Also Jack found a turtle in his buddies pool after a tropical storm and immediately named him Ernest. I don't know why he chose that name. Guess, just the first thing that came to his mind.
Also the book foreshadows that the reason Jack ended up in prison was, because of marijuana.
