The book, "what happened to good bye" is a good book so far. i would deffinetly say its a similar book to the catcher in the rye because the girl in my book (by the ways doesnt have a name)is always lieing because she doesnt like her self. she wants to be some one else. So every week she desides to be someone different which is not to difficult because her and her dad are always moving. And she hates it. but her and her dad get along good . Its just hard when she has to keep switching schools because of her dad and she makes friends and has a boy friend and has to move on.. but the problem is, is that those people arnt going to miss her there going to miss the person she was trying to be . not the real her thoe, just like holden. because he lied so much. The book starts off with her and her dad at a dinner heading to lake view where there new place is. the both arent looking at there phones or anything. usually they are. she is texting her boyfriend and he is on the phone with a bussness call. This time she really wants to not lie and try to act like her self... but she doesnt know who she is or how she acts or anything, she just knows the random people she acts out each week that she makes up.
