blog 6 growing up

Throughout life the best times are growing up and living with your parents with no worries in the world other than whether to do or not to do your homework. Growing up means more responsibilities and losing the power to blame your youth for the mistakes made. I fear growing up because I have no idea how I will make a living in my future, what job I will have, or even where I will be living and attending college. Everyone loves the comfort of their own houses and the safeness they feel when they are around their family. That isn’t around anymore once you leave for college and begin to start to build your new life. Holden is the same. He is not ready for adult responsibilities and his always messing up. He doesn’t show proper social skills to connect with people and make new friends. He also fails classes and doesn’t even try to fix them or bring his grades up, he instead, runs away from school. I see where Holden is coming from. He really does not have any parent figures that would help him so his only thing he could do was to run away. I do not think he could live on his own however. He needs to be in a school and mature enough so he can live on his own in the future.
