Chrisp week 6

One theme of The Catcher in the Rye is that everyone need to grow up. We see that Holden is person that often act immature . Like he drops out of Pencey Prep because he can't get along with his class mate and could keep his grades up. Holden kind of show a little bit of a mental disability but he definitely act lie a child. Also Holden can't take the responsibility necessary to become successfully school and life. He always try to avoided other people and challenges of live. Another example of why Holden is immature is because he calls almost everyone he knows a phony. Instead of worrying about other people he should be worrying about his own problems.I think that Holden is very similar to the other characters in the previous books. Holden, Charlie, and Lennie have a problem fitting in with society. They all don't have a good relation with their parents. In the end ll three characters live with challenges in their live they all have to learn how work throw them.
