Another book I was considering reading, but chose not to was Wicked. This book would have related because it is about a witch that does not exactly fit in with society. I would have liked to read this book, but I chose not to because Mrs. Marble informed me that it was 560 pages, which is way too long to read in approximately two weeks!

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time
The book I chose to read for my free-choice reading book is The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. I picked this book, mainly because Mrs. Marble suggest it to me and told me that she loved it so much and even wanted to read it again. Although I am only about twenty pages into the book, I can tell that it relates to the other three books we've read it class, especially Of mice and Men and Flowers for Algernon. Like Charlie and Lennie, Christopher (the main character in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time) also has a mental disability, but it is slightly different than that of Charlie and Lennie. Christoper has autism. This causes him to lack basic social skills, but be excellent with numbers. Even the chapters skip by prime numbers! Christopher's autism also causes him to struggle with reading facial expressions. When people are talking to him, it is hard for him to comprehend what they are feeling a lot of the time, because he usually doesn't know what their facial expression is conveying.

Hi nick. I've never heared of this book your reading but Paige is reading it to and the covers alittle bit odd, with the up side down dog in all. But do you like it and all? Is it a long book it didn't look to long when I looked at paiges. I read a book called cut it wasn't to bad only 150 pages and it was a really easy book, I couldn't put it down I read it in 2to days wish I wouldn't of read it so fast because now I don't do anything during class and I was reading the book with Kirst but she isn't ever there. My book relates to all of the three books but it really relates to the catcher in the rye the most. Holden and the main character callie from cut, they both don't really have good relationships with there parents and they were both sent away.
