Growing up is a must

The phrase "everyone must grow up" isn't just a phrase, its something that everybody must do. People can try to stay a kid and not grow up but there comes a time when a person must take control of their lives. Holden has tried and somewhat refused to grow up by dropping out of every school he goes to and acting immature. He says he wants to grow up and become an adult but he shows and gives no effort to do that. At the end of the book Holden does tell us that he has basically decided to grow up and go back to school, but its hard to believe him since he is still immature. We all want to stay young and live the life of a kid, but that cant happen and we know it. The faster we realize that, the better off we will be. You have to take charge of your life and grow up. Its a must!!
