growing up

the way holden acts is very childish. the weird thing though is he tries to act like an adult sometimes but ends up handling it as a child would. holden is very imature he like to lie about stuff and to point out flaws in others to make himself feel better. he is also very stubern like a child like for example he refuse to give up the other five dollars to the prostitute which then results in him getting hurt and he losses the money anyways. holden doesnt seam to under stand simple social skills like adults do he is almost afraid to talk to people because of his social skills which then if he does talk to some one then he will most likley lie to them. he also doesnt know how to handle anything sextual he is intrested in it and it always seems thats one of the main thing he wants to learn about through out the book. also he is in love with anything that is inocent which to him is old people young, people, and animals this obsetion probally has to do with his imaturity and know knowing how to handle other people in the world who are mature. he ends up thinking that he has gone crazy and goes to a psycho ward. thats the main reason why everyone thinks hes crazy.
