is society worth the sacrifice?

Society. The wicked and evil thing that we call home. This creature is capable of destroying the individual and killing the personality in the blink of any eye. So why do we put up with it? Why doesn’t someone try to make a change? Because no one man can do anything to change society alone. The select few who have managed to change society have done so indirectly by laying down the foundation for a change and planting the seed of doubt into the minds of many, but the change they worked so hard to create was not realized until many years after their death. To alter the ways of society requires the work and effort of many and the cooperation of many many more. The work and effort of one man alone is never enough to change the ways of society that are set in stone harder than steel, but the ideals and vision of one man are enough to guide many to a better bath and eventually guide the many to change the evil ways of society. The many can change society and its wicked ways, but one man alone is never enough. It always takes something far greater than what any one person is either willing or capable of giving. So why is society so determined to remain un-changed? Is it human nature affecting society? Or is it society affecting human nature?
