REBELLION!! It’s EVERYWHERE! On earth, on the internet, in short stories, in history, in movies, in video games, in plays, and in books. But more specifically rebellion against society. Now THAT is hard to spot, but is also as omnipresent as rebellion against authority. However rebellion against society is much harder to accomplish because you have what seems like the weight of the whole wide world bearing down on you pressuring you to conform like the rest of society. Now im not trying to say you should give up your anti conformist ways if you have them, but it is d*** near impossible to change society if you are alone, but also nearly as impossible to resist the pressures of society to conform to it’s wicked ways. However a select few individuals DO manage to change society alone, and that is in and of itself a great accomplishment worthy of acknowledgement, so why are these individuals forgotten in history? It is BECAUSE they changed society that they were forgotten, but those that fail to change society that are remembered. But WHY? Why does society remember those who fail to change society? Because society is a wicked and almost evil thing that can destroy the individual and kill a personality in a split second, and society encourages conformist behavior and rewards such behaviors. THATS why.
