The book i chose was a book called the maze runner. This book is about a kid named Thomas. Thomas wakes up in an elevator, remembering nothing but his own name. he finds out he is not alone when he meets 60 other teen boys. who have learned to survive in a completely enclosed environment, subsisting on their own agriculture and supplies from below. A new boy arrives every 30 days. The original group has been in the glade for two years, trying to find a way to escape through a maze that surrounds their living space. they almost loose hope in till a girl who is in a coma arrives with a note on her. this book is like flowers for Algernon because both of the character are trapped. Thomas with being trapped in a maze with 60 other kids and Algernon in a actually maze running it ever day. This matches of mice and men because George is trapped by Lenny or feels obligated to take care of him. Were Thomas is actually trapped in the maze. I am exited to start reading this book. this book seems right up my allie with some action scenes and a good interesting story line.
Collin,
ReplyDeleteI think the novel "maze runner" l you choose sounds interesting, I think it would be a good choice too read if I didn't find my book already. It seems like your book is very thriving and I like that it books where you don't want to put the novel down. I really liked that you explained the novel in detail because it made me have a great understanding of what the book is about. I also like that you compared the novel too flowers for Algernon because that was the point to the blog comparing the two books Also you didn't only relate one of the books you thought of a reason too compare two of the two we read which as really good. Hopefully you enjoy reading this book maybe after you done and it is worth reading I will. The book has a few qualifications that would catch my interest in actually reading this.
