The Rebellion of Holden

In the book, Holden rebels against everything in society. He does the exact opposite of what the rest of society does. Since the majority of society or 99% of society prefers to use a car to get around, Holden would rather use a horse because its against what is normal. Holden is always making fun of other people. Picking out the things that are wrong with them, causing him to be constantly lonely and looking for somebody to be with or talk to. He can never make friends or have a conversation because he is always criticizing them. I dont think society is rebellious against Holden because people try and talk to him, but Holden is too judgemental in the way he looks at people so it never works out. I think if Holden was less judemental and rebellious then maybe his life would be a lot better and happpier as a person.
