1. Everyone has to grow up.

In The Catcher in the Rye, Holden makes a lot of poor decisions like getting flunked out of school, drinking alcohol, he smoke cigs, etc. Life is about growing up when an adult tells me to grow up when im acting like a child I reflect on what it means to “grow up”. To me it means do something that is responsible and adult like, Getting a job or paying rent, paying for all your own stuff. Those are things that pop into my head also paying bills. My mom has a job she pays bills she also buys what every I need and most of like my wants. Growing up has a hidden meaning because it has multiple diffrent things that it pertains to. My opinion and my best friends opinions are different. Going to college is growing up because you break that tie to your parents or parent being there to make sure you get your homework done telling you to clean your room. maturity is another thing that shows how much an adult you are.
