Ways of Society

I picked statement number three; that we must deal with the ways of society, even if we disagree with them, in order not to seclude ourselves from it. I picked this because Holden never followed the rules like he drank under age. Also he would never follow rules in school like keeping his grades up. Society looked at Holden as an out cast because he wasn’t following the rules like the majority of the world. Also Holden got kicked out of Pencey Hall because he didn’t follow the rules by keeping his grades up. Another thing that Holden didn’t do at Pencey hall' is he didn’t go to the football games like everyone else in the school. So everyone looked at Holden as an out cast because he didn’t follow the rules so many people don’t want to be associated with him. Also if Holden would of got good grades and followed all the laws, he maybe would have had a lot more friends. Also Holden maybe would be a normal person if he followed all the rules and laws. Like if I was a slacker in school and didn’t do anything I would be consider an out cast . Also people wouldn’t want to be around me because I don’t follow the rules of society.
